Current diet plan?

For the last year I've been on a diet which is so simple and works so well for someone who is trying to bulk and gain some mass (if you're cutting this is not for you!)

My diet is sort of similar to IIFYM (If it fits your macros) however it is a lot more simpler. The only thing I count is protein, My daily goal is to get around 180g of protein. I make sure I get my daily protein intake by 8pm, I don't count my carbs however I make sure it goes with the meal that has protein in for example steak with rice or chicken with pasta. Now when it comes to fats this is when I kind of don't care, I'm not eating sweets and chocolate all the time however I won't hold back on eating things that are tasty. I don't see nothing wrong (when bulking) in treating yourself to a doughnut. Krispy Kreme glazed doughnuts do it for me. I do make sure I get some form of natural fats in whether its peanut butter on a rice cake or just some nuts but like I said I don't really care too much on that front. This would probably consist of around 4/5 meals, sometimes the same meal twice.

Tip: make too much food!

An example of a day full of eating like this would look like:

Breakfast: 8am

  • Jordan's country crisp oats
  • 1 Banana
  • Protein shake
Meal 2: 12pm
  • Basmati rice (Uncle Bens)
  • Irish beef steak
  • Watermelon slices
Meal 3:  4pm
  • Nandos half chicken (Lemon & Herb)
  • Peri peri chips x2
Meal 4: 7pm
  • Protein Shake
  • Banana
  • Peanut butter & two rice cakes
The amount of protein in this full day would be near enough 200g or possibly more, bear in mind this is what I would plan for the day.

Tip:
  • Drink LOADS of water!
  • Go Nandos, its amazing.
  • Don't depend on just protein shakes, a good meal is so much better.

Welcome.

Hello blogger's. My name is Rob and I am a 19 year old fitness enthusiast with a passion for becoming the best I can possibly be.
This blog is going to show you about me, my transformation, my current diet plan, my current workout plan and a bit about my life in general.

I'm currently a qualified fitness instructor as well as being on the way to becoming a qualified personal trainer. The journey to achieving this certificate has been quite long due to me procrastinating and just not being motivated with anything. This was down to a family issue I had where unfortunately my grandmother passed away.

However for the past 2/3 months I have been the most motivated I have ever been, I have been training 6/7 times a week and enjoying life. I have been seeing some crazy improvement on my body as well as how I feel in general. I already have a few online clients who I keep in contact with 24/7 however it gives me no income as I'm doing it to build up a pt portfolio of transformation pictures and to just get my name out there.

The use of this blog is mainly going to be used for tracking my progress and sharing tips on workouts and diets however I have also used this as a why to get things off my chest. I want to build a brand on the internet. I want to make my way up to using youtube and doing video logs. This is something I'm so passionate about as I do believe being a youtube brand sharing my life and improving others is my dream job. Of course I would still be a personal trainer as well someone who comes back to my blog to get things off my chest.

Some of my favourite youtubers have motivated me to achieve this such as Kevin Edwards Jr who I've been watching for years now, I've seen his life change from bad to good in the matter of years and now that he is achieving great things I feel proud to say I was there however I want this for myself. Besides Kevin Edwards who is a comedy youtuber I watch loads of fitness youtubers (LOADS) just like 'The HodgeTwins' these are now the ones who I know study and look forward to achieving similar goals.

thanks for the reading the first post, hope you enjoyed it.
